From the CETA COVID-19 Technical Committee:

We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our communities, members and associates very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will practice social distancing. CETA feels our members are essential businesses and support critical infrastructure.

The COVID-19 CETA Technical Committee is actively working on understanding the application of our industries equipment with regards to COVID-19 and will be providing educational information to you.

We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our members and communities as needed.

If you have any specific areas CETA can be of help to you or you have information or an expert you think could benefit the COVID-19 CETA Technical Committee please contact us.

A letter has been sent to governors across the USA. We recommend you print the letter and give it to any employees who are commuting or driving vehicles for work purposes. It is CETA’s assertion that our members are supporting critical infrastructure, and therefore are essential businesses.  This letter is written in a point in time and based upon available information, including the CISA-Department of Homeland Security Memorandum. As new orders come out in your state or locality you must take them seriously and evaluate the details to make wise decisions.
