CETA sponsors THC 335H which Mission Statement is: THC 335H, shall facilitate the development and maintenance of an IEC 60335 Part 2 standard to be designated CSA C22.2 No. 60335-2-79 / UL 60335- 2-79, Particular Requirements for High Pressure Cleaners and Steam Cleaners.
The Part 2 standard is developed from CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 68, CAN/CSA B140.11, CAN/CSA E60335-2-79, and ANSI/UL 1776, harmonized with the IEC 60335-2-79 standard and the North American 60335-1 standard, and it is developed for use in conjunction with North American 60335-1 standard.
National Differences shall be limited to the minimum acceptable, to promote acceptance of products into global markets.
